Some of these are still pending Judicial Review of the refusal. The Sunset Gentleman’s club in Birmingham could be added to this list, although it is not clear if it was formally refused a license as was granted an SEV license two months after initial application on basis that the licensee/manager was amended from the original application. There have of course been many refusals for striptease venues under the 2003 Licensing Act, the most recent of which was Bentley’s (Romford) in 2011.
